Curriculum Writing Workshops
At the Discovery Institute’s curriculum writing workshops, participating teachers meet on the College campus one afternoon each week for approximately 30 weeks of the school year and part of the summer to discuss and develop lesson plans and discovery activities in groups of their peers.  Click here to learn more.

Special Events
Throughout the year, the Discovery Institute sponsors many special events including the Academic Olympics, a Congressional Art Competition, Projects Expos, college visits and science labs.  Click here to learn more.

College Visits
The Discovery Institute arranges college visits that may include a tour of the College of Staten Island campus, participation in a science lab activity, or attendance at special performances.  College visits are open to public school students of all ages.
